Godzilla Formula
The GrandDad Godzilla Formula is a power rating and game  predictor for matchups against the spread based on:    

  • seven game statistics of each team,

  • with a factored in SOS,

  • and calculated as second and third order polynomials.

The Baby eGodzilla formula is a power ranking formula based on classical ranking stats such as Wins/Losses and Points For/Against.   Unlike most ranking formulas, however, a SOS is factored in with a non-linear smoothing function.

eGodzilla was developed to participate in the College Football Ranking Comparison system developed and compiled by Kenneth Massey.

Godzilla was developed on, and named,  in 1995 after an AT&T Pentium prototype computer which had an internal name of GODZILLA.
